8 Business Predictions for 2025

“The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.”  - John Scully

We all are easing ourselves in 2025 with a bit of trepidation. We know we're on the cusp of shifts so big they could make 2024 look like a warm-up. However, if you’ve ever felt like a visionary ahead of your time, you’ll know that the next year is about to reward those who aren’t just waiting for change to come knocking. It’s a moment to look deeper, think bigger, and maybe even make some bold bets on where business is headed. But not in a "hustle more" way!

The question isn’t if change will come, but whether you’ll be leading it with a happy and balanced nervous system, or just riding the wave trying stay on your surfboard. So, let’s look to the horizon and see where we might be headed next.

1. Storytelling is the New Queen

In 2025, storytelling isn’t just a trend—it’s THE way to build a real connection with your audience. Gone are the days when you could rely on listicles, hacks, and how-to content alone. Today, your audience craves authenticity and depth. The stories you share—whether about your journey, lessons learned, or challenges overcome – are what truly set you apart. AI can help with generating ideas, but it can never replicate the power of YOUR unique voice and experiences. To create more engagement and grow your business relationships in 2025, storytelling will be invaluable – and indeed, will set you apart. Real and relatable, is something your customers won’t forget.

2. Paying for 1:1 Time Gets More Popular

Get ready for clients who want to pay for 1:1 time with you. In a world where information is plentiful, personal interaction, real-life lessons, and the wisdom you bring to the table can’t be replicated by AI or “templated” advice. But not straight out of the gate. If you already offer low-ticket products, those customers may be ready for a deeper, more personalized interaction with you – and be willing to invest in it – especially after they’ve already “bought in” and know your offerings align, or your products are awesome. Sure, you don’t want to base your entire business on one-on-one sessions, but offering a few slots each month for your people to book a 1:1 call can be a great revenue boost.

3. Speedy AI Innovation Leads to Transition Fatigue

My 3rd business prediction is that 2025 is going to be a wild ride. We’re talking AI and automation revolutionizing our businesses at lightning speed and it’s going to feel like whiplash to keep up with change. There’s even a new name for it: “transition fatigue” is going to hit hard. To keep up with this rapid shift without burning out, we need a whole new way of running our businesses. It’s not about hustling harder, it’s about hustling less and creating more spaciousness and flow with smarter systems that support our health. Get ready to lean into nervous system regulation with more pauses for breathing, stretching, walks around the block in tandem with a business model that allows you to thrive, not just survive. Our Relaxed Genius Entrepreneur program is all about this, so stay tuned for that!

4. Community is Currency

In 2025, we’re witnessing the resurgence of community—and it’s about time! With so much of our work and lives moving online, especially with AI taking away some human roles, we’re all craving real, live connections with people who truly “get” us. This is why group programs are making a huge comeback—but not in the way you’re used to. The future of groups is more intimate and niche than ever before. Platforms like Patreon, Skool, Kajabi, and even pay-only podcasts are creating spaces where you can build your community, connect with like-minded people, and host genuine conversations that feel real. (And yes, the good ol Facebook Group can still be powerful.) No more generic and large impersonal groups—this is about handpicking the people you want in your circle, where you can nurture meaningful relationships. Whether it’s a content club, a coaching circle, or even a paid book club, 2025 will be the year where

5. Move Over, Freebies!

Freebies have become the thing we sign up for and forget about. With ChatGPT as the new go-to for tips, hacks and checklists, the value of these easy giveaways to consumers has just about disappeared. But Low Ticket Offers (LTOs)? Now that’s where the magic happens. As we move into 2025, consumers are more interested in making low-risk investments—something that gives them a taste of what you can offer that AI cannot replicate, usually for under $50. LTOs provide a low barrier to entry and allow potential clients to experience your value without the commitment of a high-ticket purchase.

The beauty of LTOs is that once you’ve wowed them with value, those clients can become your high-ticket clients down the line, all without the pressure of convincing your cold audience to spend big. As an Ads Agency, we’d be crazy not to also mention that LTOs can be used to pay for a Meta Ads campaign that will find new ideal clients and warm them up for you. We call it the “Next Level Boost” and we’d love to chat with you about it if you’re curious.Plus, in times of economic uncertainty, redesigning an LTO is far easier than revamping a six-month program.

6. More Impact, Less Social Media Time

Want less time with a phone in your hand, but more impact? The “secret” is to create content that speaks directly to your audience—whether they’re cold leads, warm leads, or ready to buy. Use small, simple ad campaigns (think $7-10/day) to amplify your reach and connect with the right people 24/7. And this will free up your time to focus on what lights you up inside your business—because less scrolling = more impact with and for your clients and customers.

7. Embrace Your Niche of One

With so many options to choose from for essentially the same product or service, it’s not enough for your business to just “niche down” into a specific skill or service. You’ve got to embrace what makes you unique—the blend of your personal style and professional expertise. This is how you’ll stand out in an over-saturated market. When you authentically blend who you are with what you do, your potential customers will not only remember you, they’ll engage with you and buy from you. It’s time to embrace your individuality, showcase what makes you different, and build a brand that’s undeniably YOU.

8. Double Down on Your Canadiana

January 20th is inauguration day for our southern neighbours. Yes, we're Canadian and 90% of our clients are Canadian. I’m not going to get into politics, but #IYKYK. So here’s my final prediction for 2025: We’re going to need to double-down on the home team by supporting Canadian business, and especially if you are a Canadian retail brand, market the heck out of that! As an Ads Agency, we have a really powerful hack to grow your audience called the Next Level Boost. This approach is so impactful and affordable, you could be running ads to get in front of Canadian shoppers all year long.
